Environment
'Environment' is a word which has two meanings, depending on how we use it. We can talk about our local environment or our work environment. In this usage, 'environment' means surroundings (the buildings, the people, the noises and smells, the atmosphere).
The second meaning is when we talk about the environment. We we say 'the' environment, then we are talking about the natural world (climate, forests, rivers, oceans, mountains).
