A judgement
In our daily life, we often make judgements for many reasons, not only about other people but also ourselves. Judgement is defined as an opinion or decision based on careful thought. Therefore, thought is very important in making judgement. Carelessness and unconsciousness are the distractions of good judgement.
Most people prefer to judge or criticize other people than to make self-judgement. Some people judge others based only on appearance such as clothes, hair and posture. However, appearance alone cannot give us sufficient information about another people to make a good judgement.
We should know that a wrong judgement can impact not only on other people but also on the one that judges. It can create negative things such as fighting, bad communication, anger and hate. These, in turn, can make us feel guilty, regretful and ashamed. Generally, we do not need to judge other people. When we need to judge other people, we should make those judgements wisely and consciously. Moreover, we should not make judgements that will leave us feeling guilty or regretful later.
Watch the short-animated film about “snack attack”. It educates us not only about a wrong judgement but also about gracious manners such as kindness and patience. We should always try to judge ourselves first and should not judge other people hurriedly, without consideration. Moreover, we should avoid overvaluing ourselves and undervaluing others. We should not undervalue even a child. Appreciation for other people can improve our mind-set and manner, and it can reduce misinterpretation.
This video teaches us when we are judged with undervaluation, we should be patient. Patience and kindness will create beauty and peace all over the world.
