Huge drug haul
It's an uphill battle (= a very difficult challenge) trying to stop the production and distribution of illegal drugs from the notorious (= famous for bad reasons) 'Golden Triangle' region. Recently however, the Myanmar army did manage to seize drugs and equipment from three factories in Shan state.
