Lip blushing
To blush (v) = to turn a red colour. Sometimes, when we are embarrassed or feeling emotional, blood will come to the surface of our skin and this makes our faces become red. This is called blushing.
Fake blushing, that is painting one's face (especially cheeks) red has been part of fashion for about 5000 years, and now the fashion industry has introduced lip blushing.
Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the lips' natural colour and shape, making them look glossy (= shiny). It's designed to define and outline the lips, not to actually make them bigger.
