Life Cycle: An automobile

The diagram below shows the stages in the life of an automobile. This is very similar to a process diagram, but rather than showing the stages of a process, the diagram shows the stages of a life cycle.

The approach to writing about this type of diagram is exactly the same as writing about a process. You need to describe each stage and focus on using:

• sequential linkers

• the passive voice
